Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and WidgBin, LLC ("WidgBin", "we", "us") covering your use of WidgBin (the "Service"). By creating an account or using WidgBin, you agree to these Terms. We've kept them short and readable on purpose.

About the Service

WidgBin is a personal dashboard for handy little widgets — to-do lists, trackers, notes, and the like. You add the widgets you want and fill them with your own content. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. Most of WidgBin is free; if we ever offer paid features, we'll make the terms of those clear at the time.

Your privacy

Using WidgBin means we store the information you enter. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and how we handle it — in short, the content you add is encrypted, private to you, and never sold. By using WidgBin you agree to that policy.

Who can use WidgBin

Using WidgBin responsibly

To keep the Service safe and working for everyone, please don't:

Your content

The content you add to WidgBin is yours — we don't claim ownership of it. You give us only the permission we need to run the Service for you: to store, back up, and display your content back to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. See the Privacy Policy for how deletion works.

Our content

The WidgBin name, design, and software are ours. Please don't use our branding or intellectual property without our written permission.

Suspending or ending your account

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, create legal risk for us, or where we're required to by law. We may also change or discontinue parts of the Service. If you believe your account was disabled by mistake, get in touch and we'll take a look.

The Service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep WidgBin running well, but we can't promise it will always be available, secure, or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If a disagreement comes up, we'd much rather hear from you directly first — please contact us and we'll do our best to resolve it. Any dispute that can't be worked out will be handled by the state or federal courts located in California.

The fine print

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here, and if the changes are significant we'll try to let you know. Continuing to use WidgBin after an update means you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the Service.
