California Privacy Notice
This notice is for California residents and adds a few details to our Privacy Policy under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"). "Personal Information" means information that identifies or could reasonably be linked to you. It doesn't include anonymous or aggregated data.
The best overview of what we collect and why is our Privacy Policy. The short summary: we only store the information you enter, we keep the content in your widgets encrypted and private, and we don't sell your Personal Information — ever.
What we collect
- Identifiers — the email address you register with;
- Account and login credentials, such as a passkey or passcode;
- The content you choose to add to your widgets, stored encrypted;
- Any message you send us through the Contact form.
How we use it
- To provide the Service and show you your own content;
- To sign you in and keep your account secure;
- To respond when you contact us;
- To keep the Service running reliably.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host and run WidgBin (such as our cloud infrastructure), only to operate the Service;
- Law enforcement, only where legally required;
- No one else. We never sell it.
- Right to know: you can ask what Personal Information we hold about you and how we use it;
- Right to delete: you can ask us to delete the Personal Information we've collected from you;
- Right to non-discrimination: we won't treat you differently for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, reach us via the Contact Us page and choose "Privacy" as the topic, or email [email protected]. To protect your account, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
